Semen Baturaja Successfully Wins Two Awards Simultaneously in the 2023 TJSL & CSR Award Event

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) consistently runs the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), this was proven at the 3th TJSL & CSR Award 2022 event with the theme “TJSL Program and SOE CSR through the 4 Pillars of Development that creates added value for sustainable companies and MSEs”. The event was organized by BUMN Track on Thursday (10/8) at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.

The TJSL & CSR Award 2023 event was attended by 88 participating companies consisting of BUMN Companies, BUMN Subsidiaries as well as BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries Tbk.

SMBR managed to win two awards at the same time, including the Most Commited CEO of BUMN on TJSL Economic Pillar award given to the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob and the Three Star (Silver) award for the Economy Pillar category – BUMN Subsidiaries. The award was received directly by the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob accompanied by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of SMBR Gili Aprial Braja.

Daconi expressed his gratitude, gratitude and appreciation for the awards given to SMBR. He explained that this appreciation was achieved thanks to the company’s TJSL and CSR programs that have been carried out so far as a form of SMBR’s commitment and consistency in supporting sustainable programs.

Semen Baturaja Partners with KPK to Continue to Improve Anti-Corruption Integration

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) collaborated with the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to hold Technical Guidance (Bimtek) Control and Prevention of Gratification, Bribery and Corruption which was held virtually on Tuesday (8/8).

This Bimtek invited resource person Wahyu Hidayat as Head of Task Force 3 of the Directorate of Anti-Corruption for Business Entities KPK RI and moderated by M. M’uammar Syah Reza Senior Manager of Secretarial & Stakeholder Management of SMBR and was attended by all SMBR personnel, Affiliates and Subsidiaries of SMBR.

The activity was started by remarks from Vice President of Performance Management Office SMBR Tarida Tambunan as a representative of Management, he said SMBR is committed to playing an active role in efforts to prevent and fight corruption in the corporate environment, through the implementation of good corporate governance values.

“Apart from that, our efforts to prevent and fight corruption are also through implementing AKHLAK cultural values, implementing integrated risk management, internal control, Whistleblowing System (WBS) reporting media, implementing SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System and the Gratification Control Program in every operation. the company’s business processes,” said Tarida.

BATURAJA – There are many ways to develop regional potential while keeping the environment clean and healthy, as a form of the company’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) inaugurated the TJSL SMBR Eco Cafe Program “Coffee Pay for Garbage” by collaborating with MSEs fostered by Rumah BUMN Baturaja.

Collaborating with one of the UMK assisted by the Baturaja BUMN House, namely “Ngupi Ku-day” and in collaboration with the Kab. Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) and Semgui Sekundang Garbage Bank.

The inauguration was carried out on Friday (21/7) at the Ngupi Ku-day Cafe, Baturaja and was attended by the Senior Manager of Heatlh Safety & Environment SMBR Meriadi, Secretary of the Kab. OKU Brigmand, Director of the Semangu Sekundang Garbage Bank Rozimei Ellatama, Tommy Leo Main Garbage Bank Operational Division, and Association of Coffee Rulers and the General Public.

This program is a form of concern and business development for UMK assisted by Rumah BUMN Baturaja, namely Ngupi Ku-day, which is an UMK partner who has started to be independent to be redeveloped by promoting the Eco Cafe brand or eco-friendly shop while combining coffee culture with environmental preservation actions.

As an application of activities, Ngopi Pay Using Garbage enforces SOPs through the implementation of 4R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replacement) thereby limiting the use of plastic from straws, plastic bags, drink cups so as to be able to provide an Eco Cafe brand or an environmentally friendly shop. The collected waste will later be given to the waste bank and processed into useful products.

Senior Manager of Health, Safety & Environment, Meriadi explained that this program aims to educate the public not to litter and build positive steps by reducing the use of plastic packaging, bags, bottles, cups, and waste utilization. This is to make people aware of the importance of preserving the environment,” he said.

SMBR Porseni 2023 Event to Strengthen Synergy and Collaboration Between SMBR Personnel

PALEMBANG – In strengthening the synergy and collaboration between Semen Baturaja personnel, PT Semen Baturja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) held the 2023 Semen Baturaja Sports & Arts Week (PORSENI SMBR) with the theme “SPIRIT OF UNITY IN HARMONY AND COLLABORATION”. The opening of the 2023 SMBR PORSENI was held at the SMBR Sport Center Futsal Field on Saturday (22/7) which was lively and spectacular.

The opening ceremony of PORSENI SMBR 2023 was attended by all Vice Presidents and Senior Managers of SMBR, Directors of Subsidiaries & Affiliates, Advisors, General Chairmen & Management of the Semen Baturaja Employee Wives Association (IIKSB), General Chairperson of the Semen Baturaja Employees Union.

The opening ceremony was started by a line of athletes from all contingents from 5 Sports & 3 Arts branches, sequentially entering the field in alphabetical order, starting with the E-sport athlete contingent and ending by the Bporkes Committee Contingent as the organizer who also received a rousing welcome.
The next event was remarks from the Director of Operations Function Suherman Yahya, in his remarks he said that SMBR management was very committed to supporting all forms of positive progress for the company in the arts and sports sector which was organized by BAPORKES SMBR. Semen Baturaja together with BUMN Millennials Cleaned Up 1.6 Tons of Garbage Around the Musi River

PALEMBANG – On Friday (14/7), PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) Millennials together with 11 BUMNs participated in the BUMN Youth Environmental Movement program “Musi River Clean Up” from the Ministry of BUMN.

As many as 135 BUMN Millennials carried out a cleaning action around the Musi River Jukung Pier which started at 13.00 WIB. The amount of waste collected is 1.6 tons.

This activity is also in collaboration with Startup Plustik, a startup that makes products from processed plastic waste. The collected waste will be recorded and processed into a useful product.

The Head of Millennial SMBR Paulus Kartiko, when met at the Jukung Pier, explained that this activity was to build public awareness of cleanliness in the Musi River area. SMBR Millennials really support this program. “This activity is also a form of company participation in realizing environmental sustainability,” he said.

The Indonesian celebrity, Nadia Mulya, was also present at this activity. Nadia Mulya is concerned about environmental issues.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) also supports the implementation of BUMN Goes to Campus activities at the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri), Palembang City on Thursday (13/7).

The BUMN Goes to Campus program aims to introduce the activities and transformations that have been carried out by BUMN to students at various Indonesian universities as well as to inspire the younger generation to develop their talents.

In his presentation, Arya Sinulingga said that the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir had carried out various transformations in BUMN. One of the transformations is to provide broad opportunities for the younger generation to have careers in SOEs. PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) won an award at the Sumsel Tribune Award event entitled “1001 New Energy Innovations for the Country from Sriwijaya Earth”. The event organized by the Sumsel Tribune was held on Thursday (13/7) at Griya Agung Palembang City.

SMBR’s efforts received an award and appreciation from the Sumsel Tribune and was named a company that supports New Energy Innovation. The award was given directly by the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru who was accompanied by the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD R.A. Anita Noeringhati and the Head of the Sriwijaya Post Newsroom and the Sumsel Tribune Yudie Thirzano and were received directly by the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob.

Based on data compiled by the Sumsel Tribune from the 2022 IQAir Air Pollution Report, Indonesia is ranked 26th in terms of the highest pollution globally. Semen Baturaja Distributes Rp. 150 Million in Assistance for Ring 1 Communities

Palembang – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), is distributing BUMN CSR program assistance in the company’s three operational Ring 1 areas, namely Baturaja, Palembang and Lampung.

Present at Palembang Expo 2023, Semen Baturaja Shows Partner Products for the Baturaja BUMN House

Palembang – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), participated in the 2023 Palembang Expo exhibition which was held in celebration of the 1340th anniversary of Palembang City.

The exhibition will last for four days from 15 to 18 June 2023 in the front yard of the Palembang Mayor Kambang Iwak’s official residence. Show 75 stands displaying various products from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Palembang area, one of which is SMBR. In the previous year SMBR also participated in the same activity.

This year, SMBR brought 13 superior products from Rumah BUMN Baturaja fostered partners, including clothing and food typical of South Sumatra.
