The PTSB Badminton Players Win Badminton Tournament Regent of Lahat CUP 2016

Lahat, held in the GOR Aspol M. Hasan has been Open Badminton Tournament Regent of Lahat Cup 2016 hosted by DISPORA (Department Of Education and Sports) of Lahat in collaboration with PBSI (Indonesian Badminton Federation) on the 15th up to 22nd February, 2016.

In this badminton tournament, PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, participated became one of the participants by sending a team of 9 people, namely, Erwinsyah (manager), Sandy Rukiandi, Bangun Gunadi, Rudi Santoso, Fauzan Wardana, Adam Hasbullah, Doddy Setiawan, Yusuf Gilang & Amar Edwin as players.

This tournament opened by the Regional Secretary of Lahat, Mr. Nasrun Aswari, SE. MM, together with Head Of Department Education and Sports of Lahat, Mr. Drs. Sahabadi. T, M.si. In his speech, He says that this tournament is held in an effort to improve coaching and accomplishment, in addition He also hoped in this tournament can attract talented athletes at Lahat.

Not unexpectedly, the team of PTSB gets amazing achievements by receiving a champion runner up, this tournament followed by participants consisting of 90 teams of students and 28 public teams. PT Semen Baturaja ( Persero) Tbk Successfully Defend The Trophy of Green Industry Award 2015

Jakarta, Jakarta, total of 102 companies received the Green Industry Award 2015, given by Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Jusuf Kalla witnessed by the Minister of Industry Mr. Saleh Husin.

”This award is an appreciation and government incentives for industrial companies , although we know there are many other industries that have applied the principles of the green industry” said Minister of Industry Mr. Saleh Husin in a press statement that the event was held at the Vice Presidential Palace on Wednesday ( 16/12 ) Minister of Industry Mr. Saleh Husin said that this year a total of 112 companies signed up to participate in the green industry program.

The participant include industry of cement, steel smelting, textiles, crumb rubber, food and beverage, pulp and paper, ceramics, oleo chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, CPO, crude coconut oil, lubricants, cosmetics, sugar, herbicides, and automotive. There are three aspects are considered, the first is aspect of input, energy, water, technology, human resources and work environment with a weight of 70 per cent.

The second is the reduction of CO2 emissions and waste treatment with a weight of 20 per cent, and the last is aspect of the management company with a weight of 10 per cent. Based on the results of the assessment, recipients of Green Industry Award 2015 are 102 companies. Consists of 59 companies with level of 5 and 43 companies with level of 4, every industry that qualify will occupy the classification of level 1 ( lowest) to level 5 (highest).

The Award given to the companies that occupy level of 5 and level of 4. For the second years, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk defend the trophy of Green Industry Award level of 5 for Baturaja Plant, and level of 4 for Panjang Plant and this is the first time Palembang Plant get Green Industry Award level of 4.

Green Industry award level of 5 for Baturaja Plant was given by Vice President of The Republic of Indonesia Mr. Jusuf Kalla to President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Mr. Pamudji Rahardjo. Green Industry award level of 4 for Panjang & Palembang Plant was given by Minister of industry Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Saleh Husin to Director Production & Development, Mr. Agus Wahyudin and Head Of Panjang Plant, Mr. Helmi.

The award given to PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, because of the efforts in promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process, technology, environmental management waste, water and energy, industrial quality management in its production. With this pattern, it is expected the company able to align the construction industry with the preservation of the environment and can provide benefits to the society.

Inhouse Training “Awareness of ISO 9001: 2015, 14001: 2015, 50001: 2011 and PAS 99″ is a series of activities in order to Set Up the Implementation of Energy Management System ISO 50001: 2011 and Semen Baturaja Integration Management System and ISO 17025.

This training is one of the programs to improve understanding, knowledge and awareness of employees in the implementation of Semen Baturaja Management Systems which held as much as two (2) batches.

Inhouse Training was opened by Head of Operations Department Mr. Marsidi Marsono, in his speech he expects all participants to be able to follow these activities earnestly until the closing later. JAKARTA, located at Bidakara Hotel in South Jakarta, Thursday, Sep 9, 2015 have taken place award of K3 (Occupational Health and Safety­) 2015. In the night of the K3 award 2015, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Baturaja Plant and Panjang Plant received Zero Accident Award based on Minister of Labor Decision No. 358 of  2015 on the Determination of Zero Accident Award Recipient Company by the number of JKO is 7,413,122 for Baturaja Plant period January 1, 2011 until December 31, 2014 and number of JKO for Panjang Plant is 882.717 period of January 1, 2012 until December 31, 2014.

In the K3 award ceremony was attended by the Indonesia Minister of Labor Affairs, the Governor, the Mayor, the Regent and all beings K3 of the entire company in Indonesia. K3 award was directly handed over by the Indonesia Minister of Labor Mr. M. Hanif Dhakiri.

Representing PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk at the awards night are President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Mr. Ir. Pamudji Rahardjo and Director of Production and Development Mr. Ir. Agus Wahyudin, MM and head of K3 & LH Mr. Meriadi.

Animals Qurbani from PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk to the resident of the 1st Ring of each Site to Celebrate Eid Al Adha 1436 H/2015

PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk provide 23 cows for animals qurbani to residents at 1st Ring of Palembang Plant, Baturaja Plant, and Panjang Plant. The event was held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the PTSB yard office Palembang, Panjang and on Saturday, September 22, 2015 at Wisma Ganesha Baturaja.

This event attended by Mr. Pamudji Rahadjo, President Director of PTSB, Mr. Marsidi Marsono, Head of Operation Department, Mr. Helmi, Head of Panjang Plant. They had the opportunity to submit directly of animals qurbani to the residents at 1st Ring in each site.

This contribution is a routine activity held annually. This year as many as 10 cows were distributed to Baturaja plant, 7 cows to Palembang plant and 6 cows to Panjang Plant with a value of ± 500 Million Rupiah.

This activity is part of the fund Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is budgeted by company through CSR department as a concern for the environment and surrounding communities. Hopefully relationship between companies and society surrounding Plants, especially resident of the 1st ring more closely.

PALEMBANG

Mr. Pamudji Rahadjo, President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk accompany with Mr. Agus Wahyudi, Director of Production & Development and Mr. Ageng Purboyo Angrenggono, Director of Finance have given animal Qurban directly to the Neighbourhood leader and musholla / mosque caretaker which has been determined by management.

After that, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk hand over technical distribution of animals qurbani to resident around the Plant. He also hopes the value of this assistance can be improved further so that resident who assisted will be more. In addition, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk would be always give assistance priority to the resident of 1st Ring around the plant.

Semen Baturaja Aware to the Fire Victim at the 3 – 4 ULU Urban Villages

Palembang, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk provide assistance to the resident of the 3 – 4 ULU urban villages, Sub district of Seberang Ulu I who became fire victim when was held on July 29,2015. The assistance given to resident by Mr. Amrullah, Head of Human Resource & General Affair Department,

The assistance given to resident by Mr. Amrullah, Head of Human Resource & General Affair Department, accompany with Mr. Henri Yunan, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and staff on Thursday, September 9, 2015. Attended in this event, hamlet 08 leader together with apparatus surrounding this place.

PTSB through Corporate Social Responsibility unit provide assistance such as uniform for Elementary, junior high and high school and school equipment to the more or less 86 head of family who become fire victims.

In this moment, Head of Human Resource & General Affair Department, see directly to the location of the fire. He expressed concern over the disastrous fire that occurred at that location.

He also revealed that the provide assistance is the embodiment of the company to the attention of every member of resident is not just limited to residents at the area 1st ring.

This assistance is expected to ease the burden of fire disaster victims so that children who are victims of the fire disaster can re-run school activities as usual, because many of the victims whose property was completely engulfed by flames. (PR & CSR of PTSB)

PTSB and PLN Signed SPJBTL (Letter of Power Purchase Agreement)

Palembang, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, together with PT PLN (Persero) has signed a Letter of Power Purchase Agreement (SPJBTL) in the Ballroom of Novotel Hotel Palembang on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. SPJBTL signing was done on the Socialization Service Policy in the Electricity sector, held by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

In this event attended by President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Mr. Pamudji Rahardjo along with others Board of Directors attended at the event. Mr. Paranai Suharfan as General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) Region S2JB, and Mr. Daniel S Bangun as Head of Distribution and Customer Service Operations Directorate Sumatera and also Staff of PT PLN (Persero).

Witnessed by representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the management of PT PLN. The Contents of agreement between PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and PT PLN (Persero) is terms of distribution and purchase of electricity to high voltage lines of 150 kV (kilo Volt) and capacity power of 45 MVA which will be distributed by PT PLN (Persero) to PT Semen Balfour (Persero) Tbk.

President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk revealed that SPJBTL is part of Baturaja II plant construction project implementation which is currently underway. Previously on March 26, 2015 has signed Engineering and Procurement project contract of Baturaja II with the Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co. Ltd. And on April 2, 2015 has signed construction project contract of Baturaja II with CBMI – DDK Joint Operation.

He also said that the cooperation and synergy among BUMN (state-owned enterprises) of this kind needs to be done, especially to face of ASEAN Free Trade Area competition or Asian Economic Community (AEC) in order to support the local economy, especially in South Sumatra and national economy.

Semen Baturaja Held Affordable Groceries Market

Palembang, Sunday, July 5th, 2015, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (PTSB) held affordable groceries marketfor residents in the village and surrounding Keramasan.

The event was held at the Office of Sub Keramasan is followed with enthusiasm by local residents of RT 37 and 2500 families in Sub Keramasan.

Attending the event was the Director General Affairs & Human Resources Mr. RomlanKurniawan, Director of Production & Development Mr. AgusWahyudin together with the Head of Kertapati Mr. Rahmat Maulana& headman Keramasan Mr. Suyanto.

PTSB provide 2500 affordable groceries packages innormal price is Rp. 117.500/pack, but the selling price is subsidized by 40 percent is only Rp. 70.500/pack for the residents. The subsidy portion of funds allocated from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The groceries packages containing 5 kg rice, 2 liters of cooking oil and 2 kg of sugar.

This affordable groceries packages sold to residents who already have a coupon. These coupons had previously been distributed to residents through RT / RW before implementation.

Director of General Affairs & Human Resources Mr. Romlan Kurniawan officially opened Affordable groceries market Together with State Owned Enterprise (SOEs).

In his speech, he revealed that Affordable groceries marketis one of the programs of the Ministry of SOEs in this year where each SOE instructed to hold like this activities.

In addition, Affordable groceries marketis the embodiment of consistency PTSB to continue to pay attention to the welfare of the surrounding environment.

Such activities are designed to ease the burden on the community, especially for the poor society, because of increasing groceries prices soared in the market during Ramadhan and IdulFitri. The expected distribution of Affordable groceries can be provided with the right target.

This activity is part of a series of activities were held PTSB in order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, previously PTSB has also provided assistance 14500 free groceries packages and donations to 300 orphans for residents in the neighborhood Area 1 Factory of PTSB in Palembang, Baturaja and Lampung . (PR & KBL PTSB)
