Semen Baturaja Wins Informative Award in 2022 Public Agency KIP Monev Award

JAKARTA – The 2022 Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation Assessment has been announced. PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk succeeded in achieving “Informative” results which were announced at the 2022 Public Agency (BP) Monitoring and Evaluation Award (Monev) by the Central Information Commission (Central KI)

President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Daconi Khotob, was present in person to receive the Informative Public Agency award with a score of 91.70. The award was given directly by Samrotujannah Ismail Commissioner Chair of Advocacy, Socialization and Education of the Indonesian Central Information Commission at the Atria Gading Hotel Serpong Tangerang, Wednesday (14/12/2022).

“This appreciation is given to the SMBR PPID team who have made outstanding achievements with the highest Informative award in this year’s Public Information Openness Monev Evaluation.” Daconi said.

PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk in 2020 has started an Information Disclosure Monev evaluation initiated by the Central Information Commission. The results of the assessment are not informative with a value of 28.35. In 2021 the Company started making changes and evaluations, but it’s still unfortunate, SMBR got Less Informative results with a score of 58.87.

This year, Management focuses on applying public information service standards in accordance with Law No. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure. There are 5 (five) levels of KIP Monev results, including Informative, Towards Informative, Quite Informative, Less Informative and Not Informative.

With maximum effort and giving trust to stakeholders and the community to become an Open Public Agency, SMBR has successfully upgraded to become an Informative Public Agency with 19 other SOEs at that level.

“This is our commitment as a company to provide information and documentation services in accordance with public information service standards.” he added.

The person in charge (PJ) for Monev KI Handoko Agung Saputro said that there had been a significant increase in the implementation of the 2022 Monev Award, because 122 BP had succeeded in becoming Informative from the seven BP categories. “The achievement of one hundred and twenty-two Informative BPs has exceeded the target of the national medium-term development plan from Bappenas, which is ninety-eight Informative BPs,” he explained.

Based on the 2022 Monev assessment there are still Public Bodies that do not achieve the informative title, namely 29 Public Bodies Less Informative, 24 Public Bodies ‘Quite Informative’, and 39 Public Bodies ‘Towards Informative’.

For recipients of the Best Informative Public Agency in each category, the award was given directly by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD representing Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, namely the Central Java Provincial Government, the General Election Commission (KPU), the Ministry of Agriculture, the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), PT. Indonesian Railways (KAI) and State University of Malang.

Semen Baturaja Again Provides Assistance to Cianjur Earthquake Victims Through BAZNAS of South Sumatra Province

CIANJUR – In collaboration with the Semen Baturaja Employees Union (SKSB) and the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of South Sumatra Province, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) is again distributing aid to the Cianjur Earthquake Victims.

Funds and Employee Zakat that have been collected were handed over to BAZNAS of South Sumatra Province as humanitarian assistance for the victims of the Cianjur Earthquake disaster. The aid was symbolically handed over to the Cianjur Regency Earthquake Response BAZNAS Team on Tuesday (6/12) on the spot.

This assistance is a form of SMBR’s commitment through the TJSL (Social and Environmental Responsibility) program to continue to be present with disaster-affected communities. We hope that the assistance received will be useful and can ease the burden on the victims.{}

Consistently Applying SNI, Semen Baturaja Wins Silver Rank SNI Award 2022

JAKARTA – Consistently applying SNI, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) won a Silver rating award at the 2022 SNI Award Event. The award ceremony was held by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) on Wednesday (30/11) at the Soemitro Djojohadikoesoemo Auditorium , B.J. Building Habibie – BRIN, Jakarta. The 2022 SNI Award is the 17th award since 2005.

The award was given by the Chairman of the Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association Hariyadi B.S. Sukamdani to Semen Baturaja represented by the SMBR QC Baturaja Manager Robiansyah. Recipients of the 2022 SNI Award have passed the selection which was carried out strictly and assessed by a highly competent Jury.

The Head of BSN, Kukuh S. Achmad in the 2022 SNI Award, said that BSN is very interested in encouraging companies and organizations to implement SNI. This is because the challenges for companies and organizations in the future will be even higher. Improving product quality through SNI, according to him, has become a necessity.

SMBR products have been SNI certified for PCC and OPC cement types 1, 2 and 5 and SMBR consistently implements and is SNI ISO certified such as SNI ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System, SNI ISO 17025: 2017 General Requirements for Quality Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competency Control, and SNI ISO 14001 : 2015 Environmental Management System. Going forward, SMBR will continue to improve its operational management system by prioritizing ESG performance in order to create sustainable business processes.{}

Increasing Productivity and Innovation, Semen Baturaja Borong 7 2022 TKMPN Awards

MANDALIKA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) won an award at the XXVI NATIONAL QUALITY & PRODUCTIVITY WORKS MEET (TKMPN) 2022 event which was held in Lombok on 21-25 November 2022. The SMBR Innovation Team managed to win 7 GOLD Rating awards at the event .

This event was organized by the Indonesian Quality & Productivity Management Association (AMMPI) and the Forum for Quality Control (WKM) and supported by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia and the Provincial Government of West Nusa Tenggara.

The TKMPN XXVI activity is an event to share experiences and best practices related to innovation and competition for innovators from hundreds of national companies.

The SMBR Innovation Team managed to get 7 Gold Categories, namely:

Consistently Implementing the Green Industry, Semen Baturaja Wins the 2022 Best Performance Green Industry Award from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry

JAKARTA – Thanks to the commitment to implementing green industry principles in the company’s business process activities, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) won the 2022 Best Performance Green Industry award from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The award was handed over directly by the Acting Director General of the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Textile Industries of the Ministry of Industry Ignatius Warsito to the Director of Production and Development of SMBR Suherman Yahya at the Ministry of Industry Building Jakarta on Friday (25/11).

“The award we received is a form of appreciation to the company for being consistent in implementing green industry principles on an ongoing basis by prioritizing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance, especially in the environmental sector which includes energy efficiency, use of alternative fuels, silvicultural implementation and environmental management. b3 waste.” Suherman said.

ESG Implementation, Semen Baturaja Wins Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating GOLD Award

JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) received a GOLD rating for its Sustainability Report published in the 2021 Fiscal Year. The Company’s contribution to sustainable development and achievement of ESG performance must be communicated to the public through a Sustainability Report which is presented in accordance with internationally accepted standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.

The event which was held at The Westin Hotel, Jakarta on Thursday (24/11) was attended by dozens of company executives participating in ASRRAT 2022.

Director of Finance and Risk Management Tubagus Muhammad Dharury accompanied by Vice President Corporate Secretary Doddy Irawan, received the 2022 Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) award which was directly given by the Chair of the NCCR, Dr. Ali Darwin.

JAKARTA – Mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) berhasil meraih dua penghargaan sekaligus dalam ajang Indonesia SDGs Award (ISDA) 2022 yang digelar di Hotel Ritz Carlton Kuningan, Jakarta pada Selasa (22/11).

ISDA 2022 merupakan ajang pemberian penghargaan yang diberikan kepada perusahaan atau institusi atas kontribusinya dalam pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) atau Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan. ISDA Awards ini diselenggarakan oleh Corporate Forum for CSR Development, yaitu perhimpunan perusahaan yang aktif dalam diskursus dan kemajuan corporate social responsibility (CSR) dan sustainability di Indonesia.

Disaster Response – Semen Baturaja, Provides Assistance for Cianjur Earthquake Victims

CIANJUR – The PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Disaster Response Team distributed aid to earthquake victims at one of the Islamic boarding schools in the Cianjur area, West Java (24/11). Representatives from the Company, Fandi Mardianto and Radityo, donated directly to disaster victims in Cianjur, West Java.

The company expresses its deep concern and condolences to all people affected by the earthquake in the Cianjur area. The disaster caused damage to buildings and caused casualties and injuries.

“On behalf of all Semen Baturaja people, we are sorry for what the people of Cianjur have experienced.” said Vice President of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Doddy Irawan in a press statement, Thursday (24/11).

The assistance provided by the Company is a form of social care for victims through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk.

Post-disaster conditions were quite severe with buildings collapsing and leaving grief. Many families had to be evacuated in order to maintain safety and overcome the trauma of the disaster that occurred. Health posts are also on standby to look after and treat the affected victims.

Semen Baturaja hopes that the impact of the disaster can be resolved soon, so that the victims can return to their normal activities as soon as possible.

Distributing Aid to the OKU Regency Government, Semen Baturaja is Ready to Support the Community Through the CSR Program

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk has just handed over 2 (two) units of garbage motorbikes to the Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Environmental Service at the PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk anniversary event, Monday (11/14) in the Wisma Ganesha Factory Hall King stone.

The commissioner of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, Ok Nurwan, symbolically handed over the handover to the OKU Regent, represented by OKU Regional Secretary Dr. H. Ahmad Tarmizi was accompanied by the Board of Directors of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk.

This assistance is used to transport household waste that cannot be reached by garbage dump trucks, so that the cleanliness of the environment in the Ogan Komering Ulu area is maintained.

At the anniversary celebration, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk also handed over aid for the revitalization of the Ogan I Bridge in the Center of Baturaja City. The assistance was given directly by the Main Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Daconi Khotob to the Secretary of OKU Dr. H. Ahmad Tarmizi.

The Ogan I Bridge is an important and historic icon for Baturaja City which is also the logo of the OKU Regency government which crosses over the Ogan River. This bridge was built during the Dutch Colonial period and is still functioning well today.

This CSR assistance aims to help regional progress and social empowerment. In addition, SMBR provides real support for the planning for the arrangement of the Baturaja urban area so that it remains in accordance with laws and regulations and does not conflict with applicable regulations and in accordance with company policies.
